PERRYSVILLE, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Eva Hicks, 83, of Perrysville Route 1, died at 2:40 a.m. today (Dec. 27, 1969) at Danville Care Nursing Home in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient a month. She had been seriously ill four months. A life resident of the Perrysville area, Mrs. Hicks was born Oct. 24, 1886 near Gessie the daughter of Philander and Emma E. Fox Goff. She was married Sept. 29, 1918 to Daniel A. Hicks. He died Aug. 17, 1966. Survivors include three sons, Jeane D. of Covington, Route 2, and Ray C. and Carl D. both of Perrysville Route 1, and 11 grandchildren. Mrs. Hicks was the last member of a family of 10 children. She was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church and the church's WSCS. The body is at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington where visitation will be held from 7 p.m. today and Sunday afternoon and evening. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald True will officiate, with burial in Hicks Cemetery at Perrysville. --typed by Walt W
